I just heard the wonderfully rendered first song by Javid raza saheb.Its difficult to depict in words the emotions which welled up all of a sudden. His voice is melodious, mellifluous, replete with poignancy. 'Ab ke baras bhej bhaiiya ko babaul' remains one of my favourites. It holds a special meaning for me. I lost my father and hearing this song at 11.15 p.m. just now brought back a flood of memories which overwhelmed me wholly. With a great amount of determination, I decided to set aside my emotions. Crying is such a useless pursuit. It brings forth only water as reflection of pain. Please convey my best wishes to javid saab. He is truly a wonderful singer. You were lucky to have met O P ji as some of us have been here on this blog. the greatness of the man lies safely validated in the fact that none can forget him, his songs, his personna, his talent.
